Hi all -- Could use your help.
NIS 2011, running windows 7, and I download email through outlook. Recently, outlook has been unable to download email from my email server through outlook. I can send through outlook, and I can access my email through the webserver attached to my ISP, but I can't get NIS to allow email downloads through Outlook. This problem started all of a sudden -- it was working perfectly right up until it stopped working. Very frustrating. Everything works when I uninstall NIS (but the problem persists if I simply turn off NIS, oddly).
I'd welcome some help. The Norton help desk couldn't fix it. They bumped me up to a supervisor (but after two hours of them working on the problem, I ran out of time. will try again to call and get a supervisor tonight). Do you have any suggestions in the meantime? Becasue I'm at the point of going back to McAffee.
I have no other protection or firewalls running, as far as I know.
