What is the difference between Norton Internet Security and Norton 360, and do I really NEED both of them on my computer?

I am confused, can someone please help me with this.

Hi Nickerjac,

No you do not need both products and nor should you have both installed.  Please see a comparison guide here to explain the differences

Thanks for the information. I have a slight problem and don't know how, or if it can be solved.

When my boyfriend and I bought a new computer we also bought and installed Norton 360 and a new Norton account was opened in his name, I already had an account for the Norton Internet Security we had on our previous computer. When the Norton Internet Security was due for renewal it was automatically renewed and I recieved a notification by e-mail, but we never installed the renewed version on our new computer. Our Norton 360 is now due for renewal and I thought it had already been done, I had mistaken the Internet Security renewal for the Norton 360 one. We tried to download the renewal of the Internet Security but it downloaded in Spanish and wouldn't run properly so we uninstalled it and reinstalled Norton 360. We now have to renew Norton 360 in 11 days but want to know if there is any way of getting the money back for the Internet Security renewal that we haven't and can't use (or possibly transfering it to the 360 account).
