I have been using Norton Internet Security--updated to 2011--for several months now. When 360 was new, I used that anti-virus software. However, it slowed down my computer to a crawl and at the first oportunity--renewal--I moved to NIS.
Today my computer gave me a warning that the Norton Security Scan was old and should not be used any further. I was puzzled because my NIS still has 162 days to run before expiration. So I looked in the Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs and good enough, there are two Norton softwares. One is the NIS and the second is the Norton Security Scan, 2.7.0.52.
My question is simple. If i remove the 2.7.0.52, will it affect the NIS and how it runs?
I work with Windows XP Professional on a PC.
Thanks for any help with this issue.
