I have a subscription to Norton Internet Security. My installation of Norton Internet Security 2012 started reporting problems a week ago or so. It said I should uninstall the product and reinstall. Knowing what a PITA that was going to be I kept putting it off. Last night my laptop started rebooting itself. I couldn't even get into Safe Mode.
Today at work, where I don't have an internet connection I can use, it boots fine.
Norton was still complaining so I've gone ahead and uninstalled the product (though whether it completely uninstalled is always questionable).
Rather than use my years-old CD I thought I should download the most recent copy from the Norton website and do a clean re-install.
Does my subscription cover Norton 2013? As long as I'm at it I might as well get the most current version if it's covered under the subscription.
Has anyone else had this problem?
