I had Norton Internet Security running happily on XP Professional version 2002 SP3 until the latest round of Microsoft XP updates. Then the PC would not load XP and kept restarting. Safe mode with networking was fine. After an hour on line with Norton Support it was going nowhere so I suggested loading my new copy of Internet Security 2013. That loads, but is inaccessible from windows and stops network access totally. I lost contact with the support agent. Again, safe mode with networking is fine. I have now abandoned Norton for an alternative product but want to use the products I have paid for.
Processor is Intel Pentium Dual E2180 running at normal speed.
