Hi there, I have just renewed my subscription for Internet Security for Mac [ I had Version 3 on OS X 10.5.8 ] - which I've just renewed yesterday. When I click the lock [ padlock image ] on the firewall page to prevent further changes it doesn't stay locked - it keeps unlocking itself. Does anyone know how I can keep it locked?? Thanks in advance.

Symantec had changed the behavior for its (Firewall) padlock to automatically unlock again, even after you lock it. They considered that a "feature," and there's no way to keep it locked.
It's unfortunate that an Internet Security company thinks their app settings shouldn't be secured.
Users found it problematic and confusing, and asked for the old behavior back. Symantec talked about changing it back to allow the padlock to stay locked once again, but I don't know if it was fixed in the version you're using.
You can try running LiveUpdate, and see if that helps. If not, Symantec doesn't tend to offer bug fixes for older software, so you might be stuck with the padlock remaining unlocked. Sorry.
