I have Norton Antivirus configured to run a full system scan each week.
For some reason, once the scan reaches a certain point, Norton scans 1 file at a time and the hard drive makes an odd noise.
I doubt the hard drive is dying since I had my old one replaced 10 days ago with a brand new one.
I ran disk check and no errors were found.
Did I miss something in the configuration or do I need to change a certain setting?
I am computer illiterate, but any step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.
