I tried to install Norton Internet Security 2012 last night. It all seemed to be working fine until it uninstalled the old version and asked me to reboot my computer. When I rebooted, my All Programs was empty apart from the basics - Accessories, Norton files, etc. I could not access the internet at all as all my browsers have disappeared. I tried doing a system restore, but I received an error message saying 'System Restore could not start'. It was suggested I open the Command Prompt as an administrator and type in 'attrib -h -s /s /d'; however, when I opened the command prompt as administrator, I received an error message saying 'Windows cannot find C:\Windows\system32\cmd.exe'. Trying to start up the Norton disc again just gets me a 'disc could not be found' message.
Help?
