Hi Etay

I prepared a small video to help you

http://youtu.be/FYZIX14sB4E

Thanks for trying to help, but it still not blocked.

While testing it via www.canyouseeme.org, the site is writing:

Success: I can see your service on ********* on port (21)
Your ISP is not blocking port 21

Same on port 23.

Hai Etay,

Since the message tells 'Your ISP is not blocking port 21' and 'Your ISP is not blocking port 23' this means that its something related to your ISP and your modem / router and not with your system.

  • The message mentions that it can reach your modem / router via assigned IP address.(but probably will not reach your system).
  • This address is being assigned to modem / router by ISP via static or DHCP. When there is a device like modem / router between you and ISP, your IP address is something different from the one you see on webpages. (you can verify by going to Command Prompt -> Type without quotes 'ipconfig /all' to see you ipaddress.(there is a space between 'g' and '/'), the address starts with 192.xxx.xxx.xxx)

If you are using a modem / router to connect with your ISP, probably you are behind a NAT, which hides you from direct threats of internet to an extend. If inn such case you shall configure your modem / router for blocking such ports 21 nd 23 because NIS sits on your system and not on modem or router.
