Hello. I am a new member to these boards, so I hope I will be forgiven if I am unfmiliar with established protocols.
I have had NIS protection on my laptop for the past eight months and it has been a great program. Recently I received an email from Symantic which offered a free upgrade to NIS 2010. I verified that it was legitimate and proceeded with the upgrade. It went smoothly and I now have NIS 2010 installed successfully and my expectation was to have it run in the background quietly doing its job. Only when I visit one the many sites that require me to log in have I ever noticed that I have this product at all, until the 2010 verion was installed. Now I have no autofill of any login anywhere. I have checked my settings repeatedly. I have turned things on and off in various combinations. All of my login information is still contained in the manage my login area, but none of it seems to be making its way to the web. Is this a known issue with this upgrade? Does anyone know what has caused this to happen?
I am running Windows Vista as I was when I first purchased NIS 2009. Absolutely nothing about my computer or my service provider has changed. The only thing that is different is that I have installed this upgrade, successfully I thought, and my autofills are no longer autofilling.
Thank you for any assistance you can provide.
