Hi All,
For the last month or so I have not been able to receive LU's on my machines. One is my main computer, an HP Win 8.1 64-bit, 2nd a Compaq Win 7 32-bit, last a Toshiba Laptop Win 8.1 64-bit. Problems started somewhere around the end of March. Performed the Auto Fix couple of times with no joy, contacted Tech Support. First contact no results. Second, the lady that assisted me did the remote log-in and somehow got me upgraded to v21.7.0.11 (was v21.6.0.32). My other 2 machines still running v21.6. I again tried Auto Fix numerous times on both machines with no results. Back to Tech Support and remote log-in. After a week or two going back and forth I'm still in the same fix. The HP is performing regular LU's although a few times they have failed to download but it's at least protected. The other two I am reluctant to leave on for any length of time. I've disabled fast start on all, tried a couple more fixes. I have also tried a couple suggestions I've read on here. Last time on remote I was told I was not allowed to have v21.7 update. Go figure. I have two subscriptions, one for both desktops and one on the laptop. Both are for 3 machines. My last three contacts with support I've asked to be contacted via e-mail yet they still call instead. How does one tell someone you can't understand 50 percent of what they say?
At this point I'm frustrated, irritated and majorly disappointed with Tech Support.
Can anyone help/or solve this problem? Please...
