Dear All,

Thanks,

Hi Cnon,
This seems to be rare, rather wierd one.
The subscription for the NIS/NAV/NSW 2009 trialware is set to 15 days by default. Only Norton 360 2.0, Norton Save & Restore 2.0 and Norton Ghost 14.0 is having 30 days trialware. But a similar problem may happen due to following reasons:
1. If your system date gets changed (may be CMOS Battery failure).
2. If the synchronization with subscription server is not set correctly.
3. If some updates for subscription failed to install properly.

I wouldn’t care =)
The literal answer to your question seems to be that it depends on where you go to get information and download from .....
The Norton Store -- run by Digital River -- has a page where NAV and NIS are 30 days
which yo get to by clicking on Downloads up top here and selecting Free Tools (!!!) and then clicking on the product. When you get to the page asking about who you are click on Trialware in the left column ....
But under Free Trialware on that page NAV & NIS are not listed and it's 15 days .....
FWIW
Thanks
The web page you linked me to still has the 15 days trial.
Oh well.
I've always thought that 15 days isn't enough time to config software as complex as this.
I think it takes at least 30 days to config software such as this, in my experience.

I linked you to:
and I see:
Norton Internet Security 2009 - 30 Day Trialware
Norton AntiVirus 2009 - 30 Day Trialware
Do you see that and do you only get 15 days when you install?
Are you in the USA?
