How long does the norton NIS09EN you gave me before it expire, is it 90 days also?
Hi
Is that a New Norton Removal Tool download??
TheChief:
The count doesn't start until it is installed.
Quads:
The link is to the Removal Tool page so he can pick out the most appropriate tool.
I'm talking about the error message, from the Norton removal tool

I just got the link from the reply and chose the Norton 2009. But when I'm trying to use the removal tool, its saying the tool is corrupted (twice I have downloaded the removal tool and use it).
Another problem being encountered lately, when I start my computer the norton protection center is ok but later on it would pop-up and indicating that its not ok. Below is the print screen

The Chief72:
Are you able to run liveupdate? Is Norton able to run a quick scan?
Can you try to download the Norton Removal Tool to any other computer and then transfer it to your computer via flashdrive/CD?
Also, try to run the removal tool in Safe Mode.
I was able to download a norton removal tool and use it. Also I have reinstalled my NIS09, I was able to run the quickscan and liveupdate but the problem is when its process after downloading its stating error and unable to update the NIS09.
Additional problem, I can't uninstall the spybot and my system is crashing. Attach is the error message of spybot.
Need your very best assistance on this.
Chief72:
You may need to remove Norton again. This time, please remove Spybot before you install Norton. Please ensure that you have a clean bed for a good installation. Spybot may. have been scanning at the time of the installation and may have corrupted the file again.
It is best to have things in the correct order. If there is anything else on your system that may conflict, remove it as well prior to the new installation.
Just a note in viewing these responses... Why is Norton Protection Center involved in this issue. NPC should not be around if one has upgraded to 2009.
I have NAV 2009 and NSW 12.
Does Protection Center still hang around with NIS 2009?
Ken
I think he is not getting a clean removal or installation because of the other antivirus conflict. Hopefully once that is out of there, he can get a full removal of Norton and a clean install.
I have reformatted my system... so that all is refresh... I'm trying to fix my new installation of NIS09 nothing happens.
I have pasted below a screenshot of this fixing this shot is already more than an hour...
Need your assistance...
There is no picture attached / inserted. You can not attach pictures; only text files. Here is a refresher on posting images to the forum.

Hi TheChief72,
It is not NIS 09, it is NIS 08 that you are trying to install. If you want to install NIS09, download it from this LINK and install it.
Yogesh
This is bundle with the motherboard, if its NIS08 how can I update this? Its ok for me this NIS08 no need for the NIS09.
