Norton Internet Security & running different versions

Currently running Windows XP with Norton Internet Security 19.9.1.14 (recommended version for XP from Norton after problems updating to version 20). About to replace computer with new running Windows 8.1 which apparently will come with trial version of NIS. Can I have the two computers with different versions of NIS running (will not be networked) and can current subscription be transferred and cover both machines?. Still best part of a year’s subscription outstanding.

In addition to what dickevans said:

 

You will have to run version 21.1.0.18 (at minimum) on Win 8.1 - anything older than that version will not run on 8.1.

Thanks Dick for that - have two spare seats on existing subscription so should be OK - just need he courage to go from XP to Windows 8
