Norton Internet Security Subscription, ref: Current 360 Subscription

Greetings Friends,

Yesterday I acquired Norton Internet Security {one year subscription for three PCs}, as I prefer it to the Norton 360 I'm currently running.

My question: I have 69 days left on my Norton 360 subscription; if I install the Internet Security, will that 69 days be added to the one-year Internet Security coverage period, or will I lose those days?

I can find nothing relating on the Norton FAQ site.

Thank you very much for any consideration you may be able to give this matter.

Respectfully,

Russ

Hi RussPSU:

Welcome to the Norton Forums!

Yes, you will lose those 69 days.

However, you should contact Customer Support via Chat/Email/Phone.

I do not anticipate any problem in combining the product keys. I had to do this for myself once before. :smileyhappy:

Here is the link for the support page:

Hi,

unforunately you will lose those days if you will install it now.

You can do two things:

1. Wait until the 69 days are over, and on the last day install NIS2012.

2. Or you can contact Customer Support. The easiest and fastest way is the free Online Chat: www.norton.com/chat
Maybe they have an option for you to downgrade from 360 to NIS right now.

Let us know the results.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.  Very generous of you!
