Norton Internet Security : tried uninstalling, but it is still there

Hi,

I  have  a  fairly new computer  running  windows 8.1,  ( it originally  was windows  8  but I downloaded  the free 8.1 update  from Microsoft )  The Computer  came with  a trial version of Norton Internet Security , the trial  is  almost expired  and I do not wish to renew, so today I  tried unistalling the  Noroton internet Security  using  Revo unistaller,  I  ran the unistallation  process  using  moderate  mode   which scans  for  any  leftover registry keys, in which it found  quite a few.  I deleted  them,  and   when it was done  a notice  popped  up saying some leftover registery entries  would be deleted  the next time  I restarted the computer,   so I  restarted my Computer, HOWEVER  when it came back  on,  the Norton internet Security tray  icon  appeared and  the whole  utility seems to still be there  and  still  activly  running . and  working  ( as of  right now  I have 9 days  left  in the trial time period )  HOWEVER  I went to try unistalling it  again  but found that  it is  no longer listed  in the Revo Unistaller uytility,  so I checked   under  Program Files  and it is  no longer  listed there either,  there is  no  sight of  the icon   on  the  "desktop mode"  nor  is listed as  a tile  or  App on  the Start page  So what has  happened  is both  Revo  &  Windows uninstall program  shows  it  is not there,  but In reality  it  did not  uninstall,( as  the icon  is still showing in the notification area  and  when I click on it, the Security's main counsel  box  opens up  and  shows it is actively  working.)    even though  I tried  to unistall it

So  can  anyone  please   Help me  with  any idea   or  directions  as to how to fully  uninstall  it  ?

Thanks
