yea ive read a bit , and they also say that Norton is not responsible for the privacy policy of 3rth parties , ok but none of Norton's partners will abuse the information right ?
i mean i read that my info can be send to allot of partners in allot of country's , i mean Norton does not let you buy their product unless they know also their business partner do respect my privacy.
in reality, who really knows? I had been even more paranoid than I am now. But really, we have little control. Your soc sec number is every-University, Gov’t, etc. And you have no control how safe they are with it. I’m still worried, but not like I was
yea , but we can say we are protected by malware , but symantec would not give us risks right , privacy risks , i mean a security program is to protect you , not otherwise.

Hi,
My comments are mine and nothing official. I've been a user of Norton/Symantec products for at least 25 years and have never been able to point to an incident where they have allowed any of my information to be compromised. Because I'm active here and have been on other boards as a user and as a mentor/manager/wizard my usernames and some information about me has been available to anybody interested enough to dig.
The few problems I have had I have been able to trace and they were not in any way related to Norton/Symantec.
It's been said before and I'll say it every time the question comes up. The greatest danger to your personal information and security is the chair/keyboard interface. If it isn't fully functional and very aware of what is happening and where the links are leading then all bets are off.
