Norton is annoying me lately

Ok I've been a Norton subscriber for about 4 years and I have never had a problem and felt relatively secure most features I don't need as no banking or money is ever processed over the pc,

however, for about the last 3 to 4-week Norton has been reporting every file in my pc pretty much as this  Heur.AdvML.C and is blocking everything I go into history and it's everywhere.

it reporting

nvidia

google earth

the sims 4 my kids play

football manager

photoshop

and aload more

if i select to restore and exclude this file it will work untill i turn the pc off then it dose it again and i have to go through restoring half the machine.

This is obviously an error on your behalf (false positive) as I cant see all the items mentioned above being a threat even after a reinstal.

I have come to my last nerve. if a fix cant is not remodied ill be looking for a different service for protection.

I will try the PM I have tried the restore and ignore options they don't work...

it's blocking my whole pc, every program is being quarantined over and over even though I tell it to ignore, or it just says a restart is necessary then well there is no hope of restoring because it deletes the file and asks me where to reinstall it. I have no clue...

these are files I've used for years and trust yet norton is refusing to ask me and just deleting everything please advise a fix

Hi @Wes Boyle,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. I have sent you a private message requesting logs and more details for further investigation. Please check it when you get a chance. Thanks.

Restore & exclude this file: is not the same as adding item(s) to Exclude from Auto-Protect nor the same as Exclude from All Detections.

For info re event > from Norton pop-up > View Details > Copy to Clipboard &or from Norton history > More Options > Copy to Clipboard > paste.
