Norton is misleading?

First my subscription ran out in Oct then they charged me Dec $137.  Then they tell me I'm entitled to a free tune up because I have 30 days to request a free tuneup. So I request one, get all the way thru disclosures, tech help, and when transferred to Norton to control computer, get disconnected. HMMMMMMM

So I go back with case # to try to return to where I left off. Again I got jerked around and in the end, I didn't get to tech but was told it'll cost me $50. Say what??

After spending 1.5 hours, back and forth I gave up.

So why does Norton have to mislead, & why tell client free tune up and change their mind? Not like I was asking for it, they told me I was entitled to free tune up, and then changed there mind. Sounds very misleading to me!
