Using powercfg I have determined that norton is making the power request to keep the computer running. This is preventing it from going into sleep mode.
SYSTEM:
[SERVICE] \Device\HarddiskVolume6\Program Files (x86)\Norton Security\Engine\22.6.0.142\ns.exe (NS)
That is the powercfg -requests that shows up. It is obviously norton and that is the only thing on my pc which is making a power request. I need to figure out how to fix this. I tried contacting norton chat support and the guy remotely connected then adjusted my power settings to 3 minutes and asked me to reboot. What a load of crap. It didn't fix it and if he didn't understand what I was explaining to him then I don't need him working on my computer. So if any one else knows how to fix this then please tell me. I have already tried powercfg -requestsoverride and disabled norton in several different ways and it still shows up.
The exact syntax was "powercfg -requestsoverride SERVICE ns.exe" and "powercfg -requestsoverride SERVICE ns.exe SYSTEM". Neither of those worked so...
