Norton keeps deleting my file (Sniper5_dx12) that stops my game from running

"Threats Detected" when launching Sniper Elite 5 in Steam

On Nov 29th 2022, Rebellion software updated Sniper Elite 5 to the latest build.  Since then, whenever I launch it from within Steam, Norton 360 displays the following:- Threats Detected "Sniper Elite 5 D3D12_Retail_Submission does not have a valid signature."  It gives details of the file as "sniper5_dx12.exe" Norton 360 reports less than 100 users have seen this file. Are you loading your game within Steam or outside of Steam when this is detected?
