Norton Looks Good, But Actual Performance Very Slow

Hello,

My wife has an older Windows 7 computer running Norton 360.  According to the N360 information summary, performance is good, but the actual performance is very very slow.  Is there anything I can do with Norton other than the usual anti-virus and performance checks?  Thanks for any help.

100 million reasons could cause a computer to run slow. First be sure everything is up to date. Especially Windows. Clean up temp files and run disk defrag. Run a performance test on your hard drive. You could have failing hardware. What are these system specs?
