Norton makes my dad's computer so slow?

 My dad's computer is lower than one gigabytes. I did pc tuneup and it is still slow. All I did is download norton 360 then cancel the windows update

1st can you tell us what your dads windows  is on his computer  like is it window XP vista or windoow 7

 

 

all so can you plzs go too about in norton 360 and tell us  what norton 360 v6 you are runing

 My dad's computer is windows xp media center edition.

I don't know about the second part but I think it is norton internet explorer

did you check the Requirement be for installing norton 360 your dads  desktop or laptop may be too old and may not have the Requrements  it needs too run norton 360 wish may be why it is runing slow
