Under my devices it shows all three of my computers but only one says 360 installed and the other two have a red X by the icon and says "internet security is expired". Which is not true 360 is installed on those two. When I click on install products and click on 360 it says 360 is already installed on this computer. What is going on ?
One thing to try.
On the machines with the incorrect information, from the main 360 screen click on Support - Subscription Status. This will sync your computers with the Norton subscription servers.
Then check Norton Management to see if there is any change.
I clicked on "SUBSCRIPTIOIN STATUS" and it ran "Subscription status check" and then displayed "You are Protected" and says "Product Norton 360". I clicked on "Check for Updates" and it said "Your Norton product version is up-to-date". I go back to Norton Management and it still has the red X and says Internet Security is expired. I do have to make a correction to my last post. When I click on "Install Products" and click on install 360 it says In "Norton Internet Security is already installed on your computer.
You must uninstall that product before installing Norton 360". Norton Management thinks I have expired internet security installed ???
I'm running Windows 7 Pro, when I look in Programs and Features I don't see Internet Security. I see Norton 360 and Norton Management.
Ok in My Devices for this computer it displayed Products Installed and showed Internet Security. I clicked on the trash can and removed. Now the red X is gone and Norton 360 in displayed in Products Installed BUT it says "Trial" ??? In subcription status on my computer it says I have 1014 Days remaining. Why is this all messed up ?
Make sure you have Remote Monitoring enabled in Administrative Settings.
If that doesn't work...
All that you should need to do is go in to Norton management and click the trash can icon next to each computer with the red X, then go to each the systems no longer shown and sign in with your Norton Account details at the top of the N360 GUI.
Fixed, I signed on through the GUI of Norton 360 on my PC. Then went into Norton Management and the Trial status was gone and it looks correct now. Thanks everyone for your help. I'm not sure how this got messed up or how long it was like this.
By the way "Remote Management" was ON. I didin't see anything called "Remote Monitoring".
Oops!
Yes, I meant Remote Management.
I'm glad you got it sorted.
Thanks for letting us know.
