When I went to the Norton Home Page this evening next to Scans it says “Issues Found” and Smart Scan has a red triangle with an explanation mark. I have found no issues but have a feeling the only issue is that I keep getting a warning that I have only a certain number of days left before my subscription expires. When I get ready I will take care of my renewal so if this is the reason I am getting the issues found message I am very annoyed. Is anyone else getting this or has gotten this message when time for renewal is near?

Hello Holly. I have seen this personally as many others also have across the forums. Most times, Smart Scan results will tell you there are issues when they’re not any issues for the sake of sell-ups. Clicking on the triangle with ! will get you another notice suggesting what is needed to correct the issue. If its driver or software being advised to update by installing Driver Updater or Software Updater DO NOT download or purchase it. Ignore the Smart Scan if those are the reasons for the caution notification. We recommend extreme caution using those tools as they both are known to render computers not bootable in a worst case scenario.
Thank you very much. I felt it was a sales pitch for me to renew my subscription, but it has annoyed me. The message has only caused me to consider finding another virus protection company. Hopefuly if enough people complain about this Norton will stop sending this message.
Norton will alert you once you get close to the end of your subscription. Usually when you are 30 days or less from expiration. There’s not a lot we can do to stop that either from the user end of things. I just ignore it since its not a game changer for me personally.
