Norton Mobile returns error Fetching Product Details

Norton Mobile Security was running on Samsung galaxySII under Android 4  .1.2.

Now it returns error fetching product details and says sign in.   Sign in fails saying connection is not secure, cannot verify server certificate.

Have tried uninstalling and reinstall.

When first installed both Norton VPN and mobile were available. Now it appears Norton VPN is not a separate install.

Are you using a non English version of NMS? Another user had the same error message and it seems it was determined that some change in the product that required a later version of the Android OS to resolve. See this thread, read to the end.
