Norton Mobile Security 90day subscription Free for Samsung Galaxy owners

As the topic says ‘Norton Mobile Security 90day subscription Free for Galaxy owners’, head over to Samsung Apps postal with your phone and download a fully functional 90 day subscription me NMS 2.5.0.395.

I don’t believe anyone has posted this here. If they have, sorry for the double post.

The $2.99 per month may refer to Web Anti-theft only. I’m not sure.

Hi Rik55

Interesting find i think there will be a few happy Samsung Galaxy users out there. :smileyhappy:

Just looking at the 1 month subscription for $2.99, i wonder if this is just a one off

one month licence only.?:smileysurprised:

And the Samsung Apps build number being 2.5.0.394 is interesting as the Google

Play version is from what i see 2.5.0.392, and the retail version i use is 2.5.0.398.:smileysurprised:

And from what i see at the moment i am playing with this is that the server appears

to be having it's own issues at the moment as it might be in melt down with users

taking advantage of the deal offered.:smileyhappy:

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hi again :smileyhappy:

After a bit more time and the servers becoming a bit more freindly :smileyvery-happy:with me

i find i can purchase NMS from a authorised Norton reseller for $2.99 per month and can

even purchase the subscription to cover the device up until the year 2022 :smileysurprised: if i want. Now

that is one mighty big license renewal.:smileyvery-happy:

Cheers. :smileywink:

Hi Smithy,

Yea, I’ve been checking that out as well.

At present I’ve got a free 91 day subscription. Product is fully functional. Only thing I’ve not been able to activate is the Web portion of Anti-theft as it expects to find a licence on Norton servers linked to your Norton account. It does give the option to enter a licence key, which hasn’t been given with this free version.

Hi all

Just to let users know from what i have now found, i went into the purchase 1 Month Subscription

even though there was 91 days remaining, and now it will only give me 3 days subscription.:smileysad:

The same thing happens even if i uninstall and reinstall the app from Samsung Apps:smileysad:

And if i select renew it takes me straight to the subscription purchase page for credit card details

and how long i want to purchase NMS for.:smileysad:

So a warning to Samsung Galaxy users who install NMS from Samsung Apps application-

Do not try the purchase 1 month subscription option until your free 91 days runs out.

Or as i have found it will break the 91 days free subscription.:smileysad:

Anyway not to worry as i still have 659 days on my retail license. :smileyhappy:

Cheers. :smileywink:
