Norton Mobile Security - Activation

i have just acquired a samsung galaxy s3 which comes with free one year protection.

However i cannot activate it as the activation code is not accepted --spent about 2 hours on this yesterday --including a session with the symantec on line help --but no luck--any suggestions\/

Hi mike7606

Welcome to the Norton Communty Forums.

Can you still just log into your Norton Account thru the link below

using your email address and password.?

Cheers. :smileywink:

, I just upgraded my Norton mobile on my HTC Evo 4G it says create entitlement failed. I can login to Mr Norton account

I am also getting that message.  I can log into that website, but my phone insists that I still log in.  Next step?

Hi all

My guess would be the Norton servers have been over loaded with the

release of the new version of Norton Mobile Security. :smileysad:

I would think it will only be a temporary issue as the techs would be working

hard to fix the problems, as it appears a lot of users are having issues.

Hopefully will be ok soon, just check and try to login from time to time.

Keep us posted in the forum with how you go as that would be appreciated. ;-)

Cheers. :smileywink:

Had to uninstall and then reinstall app to get it to work

I am having the same problem.  I either get a timed out message or an activation failure when I try to register.  I can login to my Norton Account and it says I have full household.

The error message I get is: "Create entitlement failed!"

Hi David8

This appears to be a coomon problem for a lot of NMS users at the

moment. :smileyfrustrated:

You will see the issue is also mentioned in this thread-

http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Mobile-Security/new-google-play-nms-no-longer-able-to-log-in/td-p/794820

Hopefully the Symantec Norton Techs will have the issue resolved soon.

Just try and register the NMS app from time to time over the next day or so.

And maybe try uninstalling and re-installing as well as that may fix the

problem you are having as it did for forum user gphbass in this thread. :-)

Cheers. :smileywink:
