Rarely am I able to locate my mobile devices.
I am using Norton 360 on various Android mobiles and an Android tablet, which all have GPS turned on and have mobile 4g/3g data or wifi connections. And I have maintain the license on my windows PC.
The 'Locate Now' function used to work, except that I used to keep finding that I needed to go into Mobile security, select the Android tab and at the bottom click on some option to enable Norton. Now (possibly since my last renewal) the Locate never works. The Locate Now button is never enabled. It always says 'We are trying to reach your device....'.
I have checked many times on all my devices that GPS is working and that there is wifi or 4g/3g access, that Norton is licensed and enabled and done scans etc., but nothing I do makes the 'Locate Now' button enabled. I used to be able to test it and it worked within seconds.
On the odd occasion the locate suddenly works e.g. it last worked 2 days ago on my mobile and 17 days ago on my tablet.
Has anyone got any suggestions on how to make this more reliable?
Best regards
Richard
