A couple of days ago, i bought Norton Mobile Security, with the direct thought that it would include all the stuff presented on the site. But when i hade installed it, none of the functions i wanted to have existed. As i understand it, the full program functions dosen't work on IPhone 4S. Why is that? Why dosen't your program work with IPhone, only other Smartphones? That kinda sucks, you know. I paid for a full program, with all its functions, but nnnnoooooooooo... I'm left with 2 out of like 10 details. That's false marketing as i see it.
I understand that the Norton Mobile Security website which can be found using the
link here can be a bit confusing for what the Norton Mobile Security (NMS) iOS Apple
app provides with it's features.
But the iTunes store does list what features the app provides and i guess that is where
the user has to download the NMS app from.
This is the info from the iTunes Store for NMS and it's features -
FEATURES
•Find your lost iPhone or iPad on a map with the remote locate feature. •Trigger a “scream” alarm to quickly locate a lost phone or tablet •Backup your contacts and easily restore them or share across all your mobile devices •If you lose your iPhone or iPad and forgot to lock it, remote call lets you place an Internet call to your missing device and make arrangements to get it back (if device is locked then call will not be answerable) •Control security for all your mobile devices through one convenient website
If you are really unhappy with the NMS app and would like your money back you
will find the link here to be helpful as Symantec Norton offers a full 60 day refund
on all of it's products.
Hopefully more features will be added to the iOS Apple NMS app in the future. :)
Yes, i have noticed all the options availible for Iphone at the moment, but it's a little late for that information now. I guess it's my own fault, i should have done my research more thouroghly. But i'll remember to check the full info next year for IPhone in Norton. If they haven't updated the software for IPhone users, i'll just buy it from someone else. That's okay.
