Norton Mobile Security version 2.8.0.569

yesterday night (this morning around 3 am) noticed an updates msg for NMS, so click and updated my NMS to its latest version 2.8.0.569. However, after updating, my NMS showed Expired! again stupid updates from Norton.

Click activate now, it bring me to Norton Account website, but my NMS still show Expired. Click download on my Norton account, it prompt me nothing to download as everything was in order!

I'm getting frustrated to NMS, similar issues when I bought NMS, and early Sep it was down more than 10 days?! Is this Norton that I trusted? Is it how we get protected with Norton?

What shall I do now? I've uninstalled NAT and login to Norton account again, but NMS still Expired. I should have more than 300 days validity.

Hi littleblue

Welcome to the Norton Community Forums. :smileyhappy:

As this sounds like a subscription issue with your Norton Mobile Security product

i think it would be well worth contacting the friendly staff at Norton Support Live

Chat for free via the web from the link below-

Norton Support Live Chat for free.

Fill in the required info and follow the steps and select Chat Now if needed. Explain

your issue and i am sure they will be able to sort out your subscription for you. :-)

Make sure you have the details regarding the purchase of Norton Mobile Security.

So if it was a Google Play Store upgrade then you will need the Gmail email receipt

from the upgrade to the paid full version.

And if you purchased NMS from the Norton Online Store then you will need the Order

Number from the confirmation email sent.

If it was a retail store that you purchased NMS from then they may require the activation

key details they would have been on the retail package.

Or you could log back into your Norton Account and take down the Product Key from the

listing of Norton Mobile Security by clicking on the little grey triangle next to the wording

Norton Mobile Security which will give a little drop down of info being the Product Key,

Registration Date and Product language.

If you have the purchase info for NMS it will really help the Norton Support Live Chat staff.

Let us know how you go.:smileyhappy:

Cheers. :smileywink:

Thanks Master Smithy,

I actually got a Norton Everywhere 5 devices since Aug 2012, till now 4 issues but all had been solved (including this) after contact Norton Support. yes, I agree with you, fully agree, Norton Chat Support is great, I'll say among all kind of after sales service, Norton Chat Support is 1 of the best. :-)

The solutions is to remove the device from Norton Management (https://manage.norton.com ) BEFORE upgrading. (I did not remove my device from management before the upgrading)

thanks again Smithy.
