Hello I am having trouble activating Web protection on my norton mobile security 3.17 for android. I go to web protection on the main window of the app, and "turn on norton security service", then after a few steps end up at an id check and nothing. I'm back at the start and it still doesn't work. Any help?

Was it just manually starting the service, or did you have to disable the Talkback service?

Check out the Android Accessibility settings. Look for the Norton Security Service, and see if you can turn it on from there. If you still have trouble, see if the Talkback service is on. If so try turning that off.

Make sure you have updated your Web View browser on your device. Also be sure you have updated your NMS app to ver 3.17.0.3205

And if you tap on the 3 bars at the top left of the screen, is your email address shown?
When you try to access the Web Protection and it takes you to the 'Turn on Norton Security Service', you say it takes you to an ID check. Is there anything you can tap on, or somewhere you can enter your Norton Account email and password?
If you are still having trouble, try going into the Norton Mobile Security, NMS app settings. Tap on the 3 bars at the top left of the NMS screen and tap on Settings. Scroll down to the Anti Theft section and turn off the Device Administrator setting. Now go to Android Settings - Apps. Scroll to the NMS app and clear the app cache and app Data. Restart the device and turn the Device Administrator setting back on. This will reset your NMS to a trial version. To get the full version back, open the NMS app, tap on the 3 bars at the top left, then tap Sign In. Enter your Norton Account information and you should have the full version again.
Then test to see if things work properly.
