Norton Non-responsive after deinstall and install and changes Network Settings

Help! I have spent two weeks on my computer trying to get Norton 360 to work again.

On 1/14/2013 I got the BSOD. Prior to that I had been getting a RUNDLL32 problem.  I finally determined that it was Norton 360 causing the problems.  Since deinstalling Norton 360 everything has gone fine no more blue screen or RUNDLL32 problem.  Since this time I have tried to reinstall Norton twice and the problems I get are as follows:

  1. Once I  finally was able to remove Norton 360 with the Norton Removal Toll I reinstalled.

  2. Once reinstalled it changes my network access to local then I can’t access the Internet until I deinstall Norton again.

  3. From this point Norton is unresponsive anytime it is loaded

  4. Once again I remove Norton 360 with the Norton Removal Toll and the, network goes back to local and internet access

  5. At this point Norton 360 is unusable on my computer

  6. I have spent a lot of time trying to make Norton work on my computer. I need help installing Norton and making it work.

PS I'm running Windows Vista Home Premium

Thank you !

Try clicking on "Get Support" to see if there are any problems with Installation.

Thanks !  I tried that but with the multitude of problems I am having I couldn't find anything that that worked.  Maybe I would be better off emailing my problem to Norton Support ?? What do you think?

You can do that too if you want. If you're still having the problem be sure that Norton is not disabled by any malicious software or anything.
