Norton not fully working after a system restore

Hi,

 

I had to do a system restore and my Norton Internet Security program stopped working fully afterwards, i.e., the intrusion prevention section can't be turned back on.  I have tried live updates, doing a reverse system restore, etc., but nothing worked.  I have not tried removing and reinstalling the program because it caused some issues when I tried that last time.  If anyone have some suggestions I can try, I would appreciate it.  Thank you.

Thank you, SendOfJive.  I would have avoided doing a system restore, had I know that it messes with Norton.  I bit the bullet and uninstalled/reinstalled Norton and this time experienced no issues.  Thank you.
