I thought I'd start a new thread for this, as i think it's quite a serious issue that needs addressing.
I have already mentioned about how since updating to 8.1 i am finding the scanner isn't picking up tracking cookies. Despite the fact that afterward i can see a large number of cookies on my computer via Firefox's settings. This should not be the case when I have the scanner set to automatically remove them.
Now this is a minor gripe i know, however it is the larger possibility that Norton may not be finding other issues that I am having a problem with. I have the latest version of Norton, and have also checked my settings with a Live Chat expert, so there's no issue at my end with regards to that.
Not for a moment am I suggesting that Norton is faulty and doesn't work altogether, but i think for people who have updated to 8.1, there is clearly a compatability issue present. Something that other threads on here detailing 8.1 issues reinforce.
No-one replied to my last post about asking how best to alert Norton to what is happening, but this is what I would like to do. Unless anyone else has any suggestions?
