Norton Security Deluxe is not working for Non-Administrative Windows Accounts. There are some serious flaws with this product that I never experienced using NIS for the past 3 years.
1. Norton sporadically does not start up when I log into a Standard User Window's Account when I first start the PC. I just finished browsing the web for an hour and noticed the norton icon was missing from the status bar. I tried to launch the program and it wouldn't work. So far, it loads every time for the Admin account.
2. Norton does not recognize scans performed on Standard User Window's Account. I ran two scans on Standard User account and Norton did not recognize it. Finally, I log into the Window's Admin Account and it runs the scan and updates the product's status properly.
There is clearly a problem here that is specific to Non-Admin windows account. What is going on?
