Norton online acct mgr doesn't show my retail subscription

Norton online acct mgr doesn't show my retail subscription.  I had purchased a new HP TM2T Tablet PC and it came with Norton Internet Security 2011 60-day trial already installed.  As expected, at the 30-day point the NIS began pestering me to buy a subscription.  So I went and bought a 2-year 3-pc subscription thru a local shop.  I entered the subscription key and it validated it with no problem.  It immediately downloaded Norton Internet Security 2012 and installed it without any problems.  I'm happy, my tablet appears happy, but the Norton Online Account Manager still shows I'm a trial user and that I'm about to expire.  My tablet when I look under HELP-SUBSCRIPTION STATUS, it shows it has validated my subscription and that I have 731 days remaining.  Normally I wouldn't care as long as its doing it's job, but I've had horrible past experiences with Norton's software where the online system kept harrassing me with emails and pop-ups on the PC stating the subscription has/had expired and then I was either denied the ability to update the software and/or updates for virus definitions.  Why should I be forced to buy a subscription directly from Norton when I can purchase it myself in a retail store for a lot less?  How can I resolve this discrepancy with the online account manager?
