Norton Online Backup Failed (W8) - Scanned Completely but 0% Transferring

Norton Online Backup used for at least one year without issues.  Now receiving "Backup Failed (W8)" message after successful scan of computer and extended Backup in Progress yet 0% Transferring noted.  At some point the above message comes up for the last few days.  There is plenty of run to backukp, the connection appears fine.  Any thoughts on what I need to do?  I did not see anything suspicious in the firewall to exclude this program which has worked fine to date.

In the 3 days or so, I have been getting W8 errors too. What is W8 exactly and how can I solve the problem. Before that I was getting A2221 errors and do  not know what that means either. Would appreciate if someone could tell me how to solve the W8 that I now keep getting as well..

The W8 error is a Windows out of resources error. What date did that error start surfacing?

Last backup since 2/4/2013.  Otherwise, backups have been regular.

After some checking last week it was determined, what normally may be issues locally occurring, were the result of another issue. Our engineering team researched the matter, located the root cause of it and deployed corrective action last week. By now the problem should be either gone or will be shortly. Please advise if it's still persisting for you. 

Excellent.  The backups have started once again without errors, including the W8 error.
