Is it possible to setup Norton Online backup to make a backup only when PC is in idle mode? (As in N360 ).
As I see now, by default it starts every 24 hours and does not pay attention to idle/not idle mode.

Not at this time. Norton Online Backup will only work based on either a scheduled time or a manually initiated backup. Having it run via idle time would result in too many breaks in the transfer of the data, incomplete backups and other possible issues if you started using the computer while it was processing the backup. When a backup is running you can still use the system but it may not be as fast as normal till it finishes is all.
