I'm regularly getting these email notifications multiple times daily on both desktop PCs Norton Family is installed on. I notice from the Norton Community post that Support suggested some websites may be causing the plug in to crash.
In our case: 1) There are no warnings about blocked websites around the time each plugin is disabled so I can't really identify any websites which may be causing the problem.. 2) On the Norton Famly site and "Manage Activity" under "Recent Alerts for <child>" there are only a small number of plugin disabled notofications - most of the email alerts I get are for times which do not match the entries in the Recent Alerts list.
I keep getting the notice "Norton Online Family Notification : Browser Plugin Disabled". I get it on two different computers and on two different users. Both are running Win 7 and the latest IE (I forget the version). I check and verified that both computers have the Norton plug-in enabled.
When this happens web monitoring stops until I reboot the system.
Please let me know if there is a solution for this.
