When I select "Optimize" the system immediately runs, without giving any analysis and without my having a chance to decide if optimization is required. The last time it ran, it ran for 24 hours before I cancelled it and, during that time, it gave me no indication of how far through the process it was - simply the time it had been running for (something that I already knew and did not need to be told). Altogether very unsatisfactory. Am I missing something? Is there a switch that I should know about? The Microsoft Optimization runs seamlessly and provides all the information missing in the Norton process.
