Norton optimizer seems only to analyze the volume only and not run the full defragmentation

When I run Norton optimize in Norton Internet Security, it seems only to run an analysis only. Previous versions use to run a full defragmentation. How much fragmented the disk should be for Norton to run full disk defrag.

Hi,

Don't quote me on this but I think you're going to have to let your disk get at least 10% fragmented before NIS will defragment it. If you feel that you 'really' need to defragment a disk that isn't too badly fragmented then use the windows defragmentation tool.

Hope this helps
