I had to reinstall Windows XP and therefore reformatted my hard drive which contained my Norton Password Manager 2004. I did backup the files and was able to restore all 863 passwords!! BUT for the life of me, I can't remember how I was able to have NPM sign-in my user profile automatically when I booted up. I've looked and looked and tried creating a new profile without a password, etc.
Am I dreaming? Is it possible to automatically sign in? I realize that this is a not a secure method but I am the only user and it sure was convenient.
I reinstalled NPM from my Symantec System Works 2008 disc- could this feature have been replaced with the version shipping with the 2008 version of System Works?
