Norton Password Manager App Functions

The wallet feature on my iphone offers an option to scan the credit cards in the wallet.  What is this feature used for?  It scans the card, then the screen goes blank.  Where is it being stored?

I just tried the camera feature from the iOS version of Norton Password Manager, NPM. The app scanned the credit card number, expiry and type into the wallet entry. So your question as to where the photo goes, I can only guess. The camera is used to scan the information, then I would say the photo is discarded.

Any information from the photo would be erased from memory when you close the NPM app. That is how the iOS system works. All iOS apps are sandboxed, and the information is erased when the app closes.

Thank you, no problem there, I see all of my cards.

Next steps in question:

1. select one of the cards.

2. hit the edit tab on the top right.

3. when it opens, there is a camera on the top left.

4. when selected, it opens a new screen that lets you scan your card.

5. it scans ok, then the screen goes back to edit.

My question is, where does the photo go and how is it used?

Open your Norton Password Manager app, and log into your vault. You should see a list of categories...Logins, Addresses, Wallet. Notes and Favorites. The card you stored should be in the Wallet section.
