I would like to know how to disable the quick fill pop up window. I no longer use to fill but it keeps popping up because I am unable to remove the State in which i live. no way to blank the state or disable quick fill. Any help would be much appreciated

anyone??

Hang on for a short while – I can’t help you myself but I’m sure some of the others here can, although it’s not an application I’ve ever heard of! <s>

Do you have it integrated into some other Norton product?

I’m not sure what exactly do you mean: “quick fill pop up window”, but, if you don’t want NPM to fill your paswords, usernames, etc, you can simply click on “Option” and uncheck “Enable Web Browser Support”.

It is the window that pops up when there is an address  to fill within the webpage. I still need and want the password to auto fill, just not the State, zip, address, etc. I never had this issue until one day i decided to try it out. I put my address and everything in. Then decided I didnt really want that anymore. I deleted all the info except the State in which i live. It wont default to nothing . So it pops up to fill every time a webpage asks for a state in which i live.

anyone??

As I said earlier, I’m afraid I can’t help myself. But I have flagged your message for a Norton Staffer’s attention – bear in mind that they may be recovering at the weekend from all the Beta finalizing stuff that must have been going on!

When you open NPM, what is the number of the adresses that NPM displays? They should be 0. When you click on details from right, are the fields empty ? Be sure that all the field in Home, Work and Other are empty, if they are not, delete everything, and click apply. NPM’s main window should display 0 adresses.

When I open NPM it says 1 address. I open the 1 address that is available. There is no info EXCEPT FOR THE STATE I LIVE IN which as previous stated I CANNOT  default  to 0.  Once you put a State of which you live you CAN NOT change to no state.  Please Tell me how one changes the ST. to deault to 0

After some “experiments”, I’ve found that there is no way to completely disable the quick fill pop-up window, and there is also no way to clear the Country/Region field. The only thing you can do is to check the box “Always ignore this form” and then click â€śIgnore”, when the Quick Fill pop-up appears. Do it for all the sites you visit frequently, and NPM will ignore the form next time you visit the same pages.

Thank you for your efforts.....Would be a nice update if State could have a NONE added to it. However I understand this is outdated program that get little attention .
Thanks once again for your help
