By your screenhot, you have an "Avenger.txt" what was tried to be removed??
So is it when you go from there into "WINDOWS" then in there you will see a "System32" folder going into there is where you don't have access to it??

to answer your question about the error message on system 32 - no - when I entered through the c drive as you instructed I opened Windows, found System 32 and opened with no problem.
I encountered another system 32 file while doing Search and it said not to open but provided a link so, I looked.
Hijackthis didn't to show it, I should be soo lucky,
You have 4 files that match I am just thrying to find the .exe files.
Quads
So, you’re on the trail to the bad files? Nothing was checked as irregular on the log.
Hi
So C:/WINDOWS/system32/aepa-872d09e4-215d-4d6a-b056-515b9c76f5a8.dll and "yr-1aa85d49-5c0a-444e-90af-04ead680cadf.dll" are both in the system32 folder, both have the same date.
Go into the System32 folder and go to the "View" menu and arrange item by "modified" then see if the files all get next together and any other files of the same date.
I have seen in the process list in the log "C:\WINDOWS\system32\winsmss.exe" but it doesn't seem it is further down. So now 5 files that match.
Quads
I am putting the script together, we just need to find 3 more files.

Hi maybe not then for the last 2 or Norton has them.
Ok you have Spybot S&D installed, uninstall it,
Please use rootrepeal as stated here http://community.norton.com/norton/board/message?board.id=Norton_360&message.id=13889#M13889, just to make sure there is nothing hidden in behind Post the log.
Then you already have Avenger paste the script below in between the lines into it
Files to delete:
C:\Autorun.inf
D:\Autorun.inf
C:\Windows\System32\winsmss.exe
C:\Windows\System32\aepa-872d09e4-215d-4d6a-b056-515b9c76f5a8.dll
