Issue abstract: During general usage Norton keeps opening up the entire program to tell me I have ‘trackers’ of course it then tries to sell me another product. How do i turn off this spam?

What is the error message you are seeing? No error message just Norton popping up with tracker warnings which is a click through to buy yet another Norton product. How do I turn off this annoying marketing spam?

I may not renew my Norton subscription next go. I don’t want those other services and I too dislike the entire app opening to sell me something when I already paid a subscription. I will need to research, but seems Malwarebytes and some firewall service would work. Yeah, may be more expensive, but less-intrusive.

Yeah, this is the problem isn’t it. for a few years I had Norton but I got fed up with it being the ‘anti-virus virus’ as it was widely known. So I went and moved to BullGuard. A great product that Norton bought and now I’m stuck with Norton, the anti-virus virus doing pop ups to sell extra ‘VITAL’ add-ons for only 9 quid a month on top of the 50 quid a year on top of the 30 quid a year special offer 40 quid a year vital add ons. It’d be acceptable if it could be turned off…. but NOOOOOO they make the pop ups a feature that CANNOT be turned off.
