For several days I have been getting this Norton popup that says Action Required, and I am prompted to restart my computer. I restart my computer every day. Why does this not recognize that I have restarted my computer many times? This is not making sense.
Be sure you are using the Restart command. Not Shutdown and startup again if you have Windows Fast Startup feature enabled. If you use Windows 8/8.1, 10 or 11, there can be an issue with the Windows Fast Startup feature.. See more information here.
not sure if this a reinstall issue or not but had before when i reinstalled
best option is to run the auto fix
in classic mode top right click help
on the box that appears on left click get support ( make sure your online)
let that run, and may see 1 or several issues listed ( fixed or more info on)
generally i find its a installation issue
may tell you to restart to complete the fix or whatever
that should fix your issue
