Hello,
I just ran NPE to see what it came up with, and it marked three files as "Bad": dt_startup.exe, dtsrvc.exe, and dthtml.exe. The boxes for the files in the "Fix" column were all checked off.
However, when I clicked on each file, in every case File Insight reported these files to be "Mature" and utiized by "Many Users," giving them a "Favorable" assessment.
In addition, when I run a Remote Scan, each of them comes back with a, "Not a known threat" result.
So what's up? Which one should I trust better -- NPE or File Insight?
In case it makes a difference, I'm running Vista Hoem Premium 64-bit on an HP Pavilion desktop PC.
