Yesterday I got a message from Norton stating there was a large amount of outbound traffic on my computer. It then prompted me to run Power Eraser with a warning that it is an aggressive tool which could result in some files or programs being interpreted as malware and mark them for deletion. I ran the scan and when it finished it marked something in my registry as bad. I moved to the next screen and now it's asking me to reboot my computer and when I do, it's stating that System Settings will be removed upon restarting my computer. What are the consequences of doing this? Is it going to remove a program or reset my settings? If it does just reset my settings, how do I get them back? I also ran a virus scan and Norton did detect over 30 security risks and every one of them was deleted so that raised the question if I still even have a problem. Thanks.
